Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British composer and musician and. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. He is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in which he started his own musical band with 3 schoolmates, which was named the White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they were winners. Even though he's always been interested in music however, despite his love for it, he wished to pursue a career as a lawyer and physical therapist. To support his family, he worked a short time working part-time in a bakery. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. His band was forced to split up because of this. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in 2010. The five-piece band was sponsored by Simon Cowell and sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the top contenders in the competition. Despite this, they finished third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Even though Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco Record label.
