Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist as well as a businessperson. She co-founded The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an writer of 15 novels. Arianna Huffington is a philanthropist, author, television personality and owner of the independent liberal online news magazine The Huffington Post. Her birthplace was in Greece and immigrated to England at age sixteen. At Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in economics. The first graduate of non-UK origin to be elected the president of The Cambridge Union at the age of 21. She became a conservative syndicated writer after graduation and when The Huffington Post launched a couple of years following, she launched an online voice platform that included criticisms about political events.
