Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Elson started her acting career as a small child and as model. Her most well-known role is for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-Fiction show. Andrea auditioned and won the role that she played Lynn Tanner on the hit show ALF (1986). She worked for several years on various television shows and Movies of the week before she left the world of entertainment. ALF was a stressful season to Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. People magazine wrote a retrospective on the career of Andrea Elson in 2000. She said that growing up as a girl in the spotlight was not easy. Born on the 6th of March 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actress traveled extensively due to her father's work as an advertising executive. Andrea was already a resident of New York in Chicago San Diego, and Los Angeles before she turned 10. While in San Diego Andrea got an agent and got the part she auditioned for. Fusco justified the statement by saying "ALF is a veteran of 285 yrs, which means he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." However as ALF began to gain popularity among youngsters, NBC told Fusco it was not appropriate to have him having a drink while watching the kids it's a bad example to follow. Fusco was convinced that ALF even though an adult, could do this. The alcohol... is death. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma that was treated successfully and then remained in remission till 2019. The disease killed him on the 26th June 2019, when he had been 75. He was buried at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
