Emily Bett Rickards was born in July of 1991. She is a Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as Felicity on the CW's television show Arrow. Rickards is from British Columbia native. When she was a kid, Rickards began her journey by exploring musical theater. She then moved on to dancing. In later years, she was hoping to get into serious acting. She graduated from high school sooner than she anticipated and enrolled at the Vancouver Film School where she received her Acting Essentials Certificate. In the open call which followed it was discovered that an agent had been found for her. She studied at her school, the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. Her chemistry between her and Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the audience, as well as the sarcastic comments she made led to the initial contract for a single episode Guest Star.
