Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also directed films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Born into a middle-class family located in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. Her mother enjoyed watching films and encouraged a love of films in the young girl too. Paula was involved in the co-curricular activities of her school and especially captivated by dramatics. Her favorite part was performing in stage productions along with her peers. She performed in numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. Through a program for summer in the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. She was given a three month task to produce documentary films for PBS. After completing the project successfully, she started being an assistant in television documentary production. After that, she began producing documentaries. Even though she loved what she did however, she always wanted acting roles. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the romantic comedy Hitch. Over the past few years she's appeared in numerous productions and films.
