Charles Augustus Magnussen in the third season of Sherlock and the Russian president Viktor Petrov in the American House of Cards on Netflix, and Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels. He was given the Reumert Prize of Honour in the year 2011. At the age of 27 He was enrolled at the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated from the school in 1995. In addition to his role in the drama series that was released worldwide as The Killing,[1] He was later featured in two other internationally popular Danish drama series, Those Who Kill and Borgen III. He played the role of President of Russia in an episode of BBC drama Sherlock. In 2018, he was awarded an International Emmy Award for his performance in the Danish television drama Herrensveje. It was aired in the UK as Ride Upon the Storm in the year 2019.
